The polyphenol levels, which give olive oil many of its healthful properties, in this Spanish and Portuguese harvest are among the highest I’ve seen in years.
Annie Paterson, the multitalented proprietress of Nullamunjie Olive Oil, generously shared one of her signature recipes when we got together recently. (See photos on page 6.) Serve with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and/or fresh berries.
